U14b: Senrab B 2 Buckhurst Hill 2
Neil Reeve, 8 March 2010 12:01
An excellent start with two goals in the
first three minutes. Reeve running through from midfield
and Halpin with his third goal in three games put us in a
great position. We created numerous chances to put
this game beyond doubt before half time but failed to
capitalise. Not being organised in the penalty area and
ineffective marking led to conceding from a free kick. In
the second half, further chances were created
but again were not put
away before conceding. As the match wore on we
lost our focus and the level of our performance.
There were good displays in particular from
Ross, Penfold, Tormey, Reeve and Terry. As both teams
pushed for the winner in a tense encounter, at the
final whistle unfortunately, this felt more like two
points dropped than one gained.
