19th October 2014 Kick off 1pm After a preseason defeat to Ridgeway Rovers the boys know today’s match is going to be a tough game. With the new players now settled into the team, they will all need to be firing to get a positive result.

 Buckhurst Hill kick off

With the conditions warm and windy, Buckhurst Hill get into some early possession and start to get some neat passing triangles going. The lively Wheeler has the first chance and see’s his effort just wide, Spencer and Salmon get in on the act and both see their efforts go wide also.

10Mins Goal 1-0: Buckhurst Hill take the lead. A quick break sees Spencer turn his defender and unleash a rasping right foot strike from the edge of the area that whistles into the top corner.

18Mins Goal 2-0: Some excellent midfield play from James sees his pass make its way to Spencer, who drills his effort into the far corner.

20Mins Goal 3-0: Spencer gets his hat trick. He collects the ball at the edge of the area and nutmegs the on rushing keeper.

22Mins Goal 4-0: Quick thinking from Laycock sees him collect the ball from a goal kick and returns it with interest as his effort lobs the back peddling goal keeper.

Buckhurst Hill are confident and are pilling on the pressure and Ridgeway’s attacks keep breaking down as the combative Combination of Salmon and Ashman keep guard ahead of the back four.

 32Mins Goal 5-0: Fantastic work from Ahsman see’s him win possession in midfield and pass it Laycock who looks up lays a great pass onto Spencer who calmy slots his shot into the far corner.

Halftime draws to a close with Buckhurst Hill dominating possession and cutting open Ridgeway open at will.

 Ridgeway Rovers Kick off

 6Mins Goal 6-0: Another great pass from James in midfield sets Kelly away, who makes no mistakes and finishes into the far corner.

 15Mins Goal 7-0: Lord this time gets his name on the score sheet, after Ashman wins possession and spreads play out wide too Wheeler who cuts it back for Lord to finish from close range.

20Mins Goal 8-0: Buckhurst Hill break quick and Kelly receives the ball at the edge of the area and doubles his tally for the day.

Buckhurst Hill keep pressing and don’t give Ridgeway a moment of peace anywhere on the pitch. They are first to every ball. and Ridgeway have been demolished. What a difference from the pre season match as the final whistle blows and the home support show their appreciation of the performance given by the boys today.

So another home game next week as LOASS are the visiting team, lets hope the boys can keep up the impressive performances.
